Reimagine IV: Electronics

Paper and water conduct electricity and allows to build paper electronics in forms of resistors, sensors and switches. The light of the bulb gets dimmed while the paper dries out. Closing the circuit of a battery and LED through a wet sheet of paper indicates  the potentials of material interfaces being embedded with devices of the IoT.

Can materials substitute electronics or narrow the gap between technology and materials?

Paper induced with water is conductive, adding salt increases the conduciveness.
